HOW TO TURN OFF/ON THE BLUETOOTH PAIRING
When your IQ2 is turned on, press the Up and Down buttons at the same time, 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the Bluetooth on or off.
WHAT IS A BURNOFF CYCLE & WHEN DO I NEED TO COMPLETE IT?
A "Burn-off" cycle is the process of removing residual odors and any other material left in your bowl after cleaning. You should perform a burn-off cycle anytime you want to remove residual odors, loosen material for cleaning, and most importantly after thoroughly cleaning your vaporizer.
HOW TO RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
While the IQ2 is turned off, press all three buttons and hold for 10 seconds.
HOW TO SWITCH MOUTHPIECES
To switch mouthpieces on your IQ2:
- Open the top lid.
- Push the mouthpiece inward from the top-side to detach.
- Remove the gasket from the previous mouthpiece and replace the gasket of the desired mouthpiece.
- Reinstall the new mouthpiece into the top lid and close.
HOW TO ADJUST THE BRIGHTNESS ON THE DISPLAY
Sometimes you want to turn those bright and vibrant LED lights down on your vaporizer so we made sure to have stealth mode for those interested in a more subtle display on their IQ2.
To dim the LED display, click the round button and down button together once.
To return to full brightness, click the round button and up button together once.
CLEANING THE IQ2
To keep the IQ2 working optimally and maintaining the purest taste, we recommend that all parts that come in contact with dry herb material or vapor are cleaned regularly.
All removable parts (mouthpiece and gasket, polished black zirconia “flavor chamber” and insulative zirconia “pearl” spacer) can be removed and can be cleaned separately.
Submerge all parts in 90% or greater isopropyl alcohol in a glass or ceramic container and store safely overnight. Clean all other parts of the vapor path and unit with isopropyl alcohol until clean.
Do not use abrasive materials to clean the device, oven or vapor path, as damage may occur.
Using gloves and protective tools, rinse thoroughly with water and dry before assembling.
USING THE BOOST/COOLDOWN MODE
To activate the "Boost" mode, hold down the round button on your IQ2 and watch the temperature rise to the highest temperature. This feature can be performed at any time during any heat mode.
Releasing the Control button activates the "Cooldown" mode. This mode turns the power off to the oven and will gradually bring the IQ2 down to room temperature.
To disrupt this press any button to resume your previous position and temperature setting in the session. If you do not disrupt the cooldown mode, the IQ2 will automatically shut off after 2 mins.
HOW TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE
The IQ2 features a choice of four smart heating paths that offer a range of unique vaporizer experiences, and our precision temperature mode which heats your material to a specific temperature.
Switch between Smart Paths by pressing the up or down buttons while in Smart Path mode. The Smart Paths activate a temperature range that is traveled slowly over a path throughout your session delicately warming the spectrum of your dry herbs.
To switch between the Smart Path mode and the precision temperature mode, click the round control button on the side of the IQ2.
To increase temperature, press the top button. To decrease the temperature, press the bottom button. The IQ2 will quickly flash temperature selected, display the current temperature and vibrate when the selected temperature is reached.
LOADING AND UNLOADING THE OVEN BOWL
To load the IQ2 oven, turn the device upside down and use the loading area to fill with your medium ground dry herb. Pack firmly into the oven until full.
For unloading, use the provided metal pick tool to stir the contents in your oven. Gently sweep the material from your oven and use the brush tool to sweep any remaining material.
***It is the best-recommended load and to unload the oven once your material is at a safe temperature. Loading and unloading, while hot can cause the risk of burn as well, can damage the brush tool.
HOW TO CHANGE FROM F° TO C°
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click all three buttons at once on your IQ2.
HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERY
To change your IQ2 18650 battery:
- Open the top lid.
- Pull back the tab on the battery door to open.
- Replace the previous battery with the desired new battery with the positive end (button node) facing down.
- Close the battery door by first pulling back the tab, pushing down and sliding the tab forward into the lock groove.
HOW TO CHARGE THE IQ2
To charge your IQ2, connect the charging cable to your computer or USB wall adapter and connect the micro USB end to the charging port on the back of the device.
Once connected, the battery level will be displayed. When the battery level shows fully charged, you can disconnect the charging cable.
It is recommended that you remove the battery from the device during extended periods between uses to avoid damage and/or corrosion.
IMPORTANT BATTERY WARNING
The IQ2’s 18650 lithium-ion battery may burn if mistreated. To avoid explosion, fire, serious injury, environmental harm, short-circuits or malfunctions, follow these guidelines:
- Always store loose batteries in a protective cover.
- Never carry unprotected loose batteries on your body.
- Do not use it if the battery wrapper is damaged.
- Do not use it if there are any signs of corrosion.
- Do not disassemble or short circuit.
- Do not store your IQ2 or battery near heat sources.
- Do not use your IQ2 if it is unusually hot to the touch.
- Only use the DaVinci flat top 18650 battery.
- Always dispose of lithium-ion batteries in accordance with local requirements.
- Never dispose of the battery in fire or water.
HOW DO I SYNC THE IQ2 WITH THE MOBILE APP?
Download the Davinci Vaporizer app from either Apple Store (iOS) or Google Play (ANDROID). Once you have downloaded the app, create a profile and register device to activate controls.
Go to Bluetooth settings on your mobile to turn on and locate the device. Once paired return to the mobile app and begin taking control of your device from your mobile!
HOW CAN I EDIT THE SMART PATHS?
The smart path feature with the IQ2 cannot be edited directly on the device. Use the DAVINCI VAPORIZER app to create custom smart path temperature ranges. After pairing the IQ2 with the mobile app, you can access the “Smart Paths”. custom feature from the hamburger menu at the top left corner. Select each path you want to customize and press “Edit Path” to begin.
From the left temperature point, drag to the desired temperature and time for the first point. The path can also be edited by selecting the point you wish to edit with a single tap on the point, then use the sliders below the graph. Repeat for the next two points. When you have completed your customization, press "save" to receive confirmation.
